Winner winner! Chicken dinner? (If you can afford one)

The Car Payments Anonymous group (which I am the only official president and member of) has chosen it's winner of April's "I Can't Afford It Award"

The winner whose only prize is a life lesson to which he still can chose to learn from is....

This guy.
"But almost right after buying it we had something unexpected financially to where we can no longer afford it"

It's unfortunate that this person could not mathematically equate their current financial situation and ask themselves
CAN WE TRULY AFORD THIS.

My answer.

If you finance a car you cannot afford it. It does not matter if you need it and you follow my rules of only financing a car around 5 grand max. If your putting anything on credit with nothing to back it up you cannot afford it. The only reason I support a car loan around 5 grand is because if a person is trying to get back on their feet and absolutely need a car to get to work and get around you've got to look past affording it to making your situation better. Coming up with a 100 dollar payment will be 4 times easier than a average 400 dollar payment!

Does that make sense?

Let me try this way.

STOP BEING SATISFIED OF NOT BEING ABLE TO PAY YOUR LARGE PURCHASE OFF!!

If you can't afford to pay off your car be unsatisfied.
Of you cannot pay off your school be unsatisfied.
If you cannot pay off your house be unsatisfied!
You ard living under someone else's rules that say you can afford it

But you CANNOT!

Be unsatisfied!!

Until you can afford it...
